Trying to do this between two jobs proved to be more than I could handle. There's no way I'll finish this before January is up. I'm quite upset with myself, but I suppose there's only so much I can physically do given my time constraints...

I guess this will just be one of those "it'll be done when it's done" scenarios. In any case, here's a small preview of the illustration to come.

New Year

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. I certainly did!

Here's my first upload for the year. It's just a bit of practice from photo reference. Finding time to do personal art between my two jobs is pretty tricky, but I plan to have my next major illustration out before the month is up (hopefully).

Here's a little practice I did in my free time. These are two characters I like a lot from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

I decided to change up my painting technique to something that feels more natural. I'm liking this method of painting, so I want to see if I can incorporate it into my future paintings.
